Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents. This role blends customer service, communication, and professionalism while supporting access awareness throughout the location. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour Job Schedule Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures and following security‑related protocols appropriate for a financial institution location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, office areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report discrepancies, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior. Support emergency response activities according to post orders, including assisting with evacuations, access control measures, and communication with site contacts and/or first responders. Minimum Requirements A guard card or license is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
