Key Responsibilities of the Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist

• Perform diagnostic examinations during invasive cardiology procedures
• Collect and record subjective data for accurate anatomical and physiological diagnosis

Requirements of the Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist

• Associate Degree or graduation from an approved Cardiovascular Training Program
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• At least 2 years of experience in the cardiovascular specialty
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
