Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart specialty position located in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves providing care in a cardiac surgery unit with a focus on open and robotic cardiac surgical procedures. Candidates will support a busy cardiac program, handling various cases including heart failure and heart transplant operations, in a facility with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac surgery cases, robotic surgical procedures, and transplant support is advantageous
• Additional Information: The unit features 8 cardiac operating rooms with 7 cardiac surgeons performing 9-16 operational cases daily, totaling over 2,000 cardiac cases annually. Cases typically involve one FA (unless both femoral and radial veins are needed), one CST, one Heart Holder RN, and one Circulator. The unit handles complex procedures including open and robotic cardiac surgeries and has specialized programs for heart failure and transplants.
