Associate, Process Manager

As an Associate, Process Manager at Capital One, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for creating and enhancing processes within the Sales Center of Excellence Command Center. This person will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and have the ability to adapt to change quickly. General Responsibilities:

• Day to day oversight of multiple business processes. Monitor, report, and plan process improvement or manage process controls; identify process improvement opportunities and implement them through collaboration with other groups.

• Resolve complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes; escalate breakdowns in the process by asking the right questions and identify and involve the right stakeholders to correct breakdowns.

• Develop and maintain formal process documents, and document processes and projects (creating project reports, presentations, business cases, and diagrams).

• Collaborate on larger initiatives, including representing the department on broader change control forums for input and to represent department interests; challenge forum decisions if project outcome impacts department processes. Provide training to internal customers on specific processes they manage; may deliver presentations, including up to the executive level.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification

• At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office or G Suite

• At least 1 year of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management, or Risk Management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

• Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Plano, TX: $66,700 - $76,100 for Process Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
