Post-Doctoral Associate The Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at Tuskegee University is seeking a Post-Doctoral Associate (PDA) with an expertise in Sustainable Bio-Nanocomposites. The PDA will lead a group of graduate students in synthesis, processing and characterization of nanoparticles and their polymer and fiber composites derived from natural sources. Additional responsibilities include writing technical reports and manuscripts for publications and making presentations in monthly meetings and conferences. Applicant must have a doctoral degree in the relevant area with a strong record of publications and experience in supervising students. Applicant must be familiar with synthesis of nanoparticles, processing of polymer and fiber composites, and characterizing the morphological, microscopic, thermal, mechanical, and antimicrobial properties of these materials.
