Job Summary  

The Sales Consultant is responsible for generating new business through a high volume of primarily outbound prospecting, as well as effectively working inbound leads, while selling the CPASiteSolutions portfolio of website design and digital marketing solutions and meeting or exceeding sales quotas. This is a high-activity, full-cycle sales role where the successful candidate will be expected to consistently generate new opportunities, engage decision makers, conduct consultative sales conversations, and close new business. 

The successful candidate will be a motivated, competitive, and coachable sales professional who enjoys prospecting, is comfortable with rejection, and is driven to develop and grow within a fast-paced sales environment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Conduct high-volume daily outbound prospecting through phone, email, and other appropriate channels to generate new sales opportunities, while also effectively working inbound leads assigned to the role. 
• Research and identify prospective clients, navigate gatekeepers, and connect with key decision makers 
• Conduct consultative discovery and qualification to understand prospects' business needs, goals, challenges, and marketing objectives 
• Deliver product demonstrations and educate prospects on how website and digital marketing solutions can support their business goals 
• Recommend appropriate solutions, address objections, and guide prospects through the sales process 
• Maintain consistent follow-up and effectively manage opportunities and pipeline activity within Salesforce 
• Close new business and consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals 
• Maintain a thorough understanding of CPASiteSolutions products, services, the digital marketing industry, and client needs 
• Regular and reliable attendance is expected as this is a full-time position 
• Other duties as assigned by management 

Key Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:  

• 1–2 years of SaaS, technology, digital marketing, or inside sales experience preferred ; SDR/BDR experience will be considered 
• Proven ability to prospect, generate new opportunities, and close business 
• Strong "hunter" mentality with a willingness to make outbound calls and consistently pursue new business 
• Consultative sales approach with strong discovery, listening, communication, and objection-handling skills 
• Highly motivated, competitive, persistent, and comfortable with rejection 
• Highly coachable with a willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continuously improve 
• Strong attention to detail, time management, organization, and follow-through 
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment 
• Working knowledge of digital marketing, including websites, SEO, PPC, or social media, preferred 
• High level of comfort with internet technology and learning new software and CRM systems (ex. Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, ChiliPiper, Natterbox etc.)  
• Positive attitude and ability to adapt to change while contributing to both individual and team

Physical/Mental Requirements for the Job:

• Prolonged periods of sedentary movement

• May be requested to work overtime and weekends if deemed necessary

• Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds

• Certain positions might be required to occasional travel
