divh2Ultrasound Technologist | Full-Time | Sign-on Bonus! | South Portland, Maine/h2pJob Category: Clinical Requisition Number: ULTRA004250/ppPosted: June 1, 2026/ppFull-Time On-site South Portland, ME 04106, USA/ph2Job Details/h2h3Description/h3pEssential Functions:/pulliPerform Ultrasound exams as indicated./liliObtain appropriate medical history from referring physician and patient./liliRequest pertinent outside films and reports when indicated for correlation./liliComplete sonographer worksheets with all exams./liliReview images/films with Radiologist./liliMonitor ultrasound supplies and order as necessary./liliMaintain preventative maintenance on ultrasound system, keeping detailed records on file./liliMaintain all credentials with regard to ACR and other certification and accreditation./liliAdditional duties as requested by management staff./liliUnderstands/utilizes all electronic and computer systems including basic trouble shooting./liliAdhere to the ergonomic safety policy and comply with the ergonomic established competencies./li/ulpJob Requirements:/pulliCompletion of a recognized AMA school of sonography or equivalent; national certification, (RDMS) required. Experienced preferred./liliCurrent experience in all areas of diagnostic medical sonography. Clinical competence in the delivery of care for selected patient populations. Must be familiar with current regulations.
