Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - OR Circulator with at least 1 year of OR experience and an active NC or compact RN license for a day-shift position with on-call weekend requirements.

Details

• Operating Room setting within a 355-bed acute care hospital
• 13-bed surgical suite with 1:1 patient ratios
• Adult population with minimal pediatric cases (outpatient only)
• Utilizes robotics (Da Vinci), Mako, Holmium Laser, and Hana table equipment
• Uses Cerner EHR
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
• Call required 7 days per month, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• ADN or BSN required
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience required
• Ortho or Neuro experience preferred
• AHA certifications required
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Serve as OR Circulator supporting surgical procedures across Ortho, Neuro, and general surgical specialties
• No specific scrub color required; facility provides a scrub dispensing machine
• Outside attire not laundered by the hospital is not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
• Must begin assignment on one of the designated orientation start dates in October, November, or December 2026
