Sparta, TN | Temp-to-Hire | $15.00/Hour


Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting an Experienced Cook for a valued client in Sparta, Tennessee. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous cooking experience who takes pride in preparing quality food and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment.

Position Summary


The Cook will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring all meals are prepared according to quality and safety standards. Candidates with prior restaurant or commercial kitchen experience are strongly preferred.

Schedule & Compensation

• Wednesday through Saturday
• Approximately 30 hours per week
• Starting pay: $15.00 per hour
• Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Essential Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked
• Assist with kitchen preparation and daily operations
• Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Qualifications

• Previous cook experience required
• Restaurant or commercial kitchen experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine kitchen duties
