Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Optician to join our dynamic team. You will work alongside a team of eye care professionals, to deliver top-tier optical services, from interpreting prescriptions to fitting and adjusting eyewear.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Consultation: Provide expert advice to customers on selecting the right eyewear, including frames, lenses, and coatings that match their style, needs, and prescription.
• Prescription Interpretation: Accurately interpret prescriptions provided by Optometrists, ensuring precision when preparing eyewear orders.
• Personalized Fittings: Measure and fit customers with eyewear, adjusting frames for optimal comfort and clarity. Ensure that all eyewear fits properly and is tailored to the customer’s unique face shape and preferences.
• Product Expertise: Stay informed about the latest eyewear trends, technologies, and innovations to offer customers a wide range of options that suit their lifestyles and budget.
• Frame & Lens Recommendations: Advise on frame materials, lens types, and coatings to meet individual requirements for vision correction and protection.
• Order Processing & Management: Prepare and process orders for glasses and contact lenses, ensuring prescriptions are accurate and specifications are met. Track orders to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Customer Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, including prescription details and any changes to prescriptions or eyewear preferences.
• Quality Control: Oversee the quality control of eyewear products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and durability.
• Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring an exceptional experience for each client from start to finish.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Optician, preferably in a retail or clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of eyewear products, lens types, and optical aids.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team of eye care professionals.
• Familiarity with eyewear fitting techniques and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
