Overview On Call Driver / Transporter role at Indiana Donor Network . Indiana Donor Network is a federally designated organ recovery organization and accredited tissue bank that serves as the link between donors and patients awaiting life-saving organ transplants, healing tissue, and corneas that restore sight. About the Role As a driver for Indiana Donor Network , you will be responsible for: Driving organ and tissue staff members to and from donor hospitals throughout the state of Indiana Transporting donor samples and/or organs to and from the airport or appropriate testing facility Transporting deceased patients from hospitals and morgues to our facility for recovery, and from our center to funeral homes within the state of Indiana Working closely with both internal team members and external clients, ensuring safe and efficient transportation In this PRN / on-call position, you will provide your availability for 24-hour on-call shifts in advance and will be scheduled based on that availability each month. The primary focus will be nights from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, but the shift could extend outside this range. A minimum of 7 to 8 24-hour on-call shifts is required. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma is required Dedication to customer service and the ability to always represent the organization in a professional manner Ability to arrive at the office within one hour of being called Must demonstrate safe driving skills and maintain a clean, insurable driving record Who We’re Looking For We seek individuals who are passionate, ready to tackle challenges, and committed to making a life-saving impact for organ, tissue, and eye donors and recipients.
