Make a meaningful impact by providing specialized speech-language therapy to students in a supportive, home-based setting near Providence, RI. This contract opportunity is perfect for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists committed to making a difference in children’s lives. You’ll conduct two targeted 45-minute sessions per week, delivering crucial care to a student who is immunocompromised and requires exceptional attention and safety.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid SLP license for the state of Rhode Island
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Previous experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based settings preferred
- Expertise in delivering services in a home or remote environment
- Fully vaccinated status required for student safety
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct two 45-minute speech-language therapy sessions per week in the student’s home
- Develop individualized intervention plans that target the student’s unique needs and goals
- Collaborate with families to offer guidance, home strategies, and progress updates
- Maintain detailed, accurate documentation for compliance and reporting purposes
- Foster a positive, nurturing environment that supports student achievement
