Pipefitter Journeyman

PipefitterWe are currently seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our growing team. This role involves the installation, modification, and repair of piping systems in commercial and industrial environments, including HVAC and mechanical systems.Key ResponsibilitiesSelect appropriate pipe types and sizes based on job specificationsInspect worksites to identify obstructions and ensure structural integrityPlan installation sequences to avoid conflicts with other tradesAssemble and install metal and non-metal piping systems, including brass, copper, lead, glass, and plasticJoin piping using threaded, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented jointsSecure piping systems using clamps, brackets, and hangersInstall and maintain refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, including compressors, pumps, meters, and controlsTest piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and diagnostic toolsPerform welding as required for system installationQualificationsMinimum 4 years of experience in commercial pipefitting or HVAC/mechanical systemsCompletion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent field experienceValid driver's license requiredProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawingsSkilled in cutting, bending, welding, and assembling piping systemsStrong understanding of piping codes and installation standardsAbility to visualize three-dimensional layouts from plans and specificationsComfortable working within precise limits and standards of accuracyMust have a valid driver's licenseBenefitsPaid vacation and holidaysCareer advancement and training opportunitiesMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchLife and disability insuranceEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
