I opened my agency in 2001 and currently lead a team of five. Before becoming an agent, I spent six years working as a Claims Representative, which gave me valuable insight into helping customers through important moments in their lives. I graduated Cum Laude from Towson University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree. I'm a lifelong Maryland resident and proud mother of two daughters. Service and commitment are values that strongly influence both my personal and professional life. ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Jennifer Smigal - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members. Manage appointment scheduling and office communications. Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records. Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options. Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs. Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role. Communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
