Automotive Service Technicians / Mechanics At least 2 Years of Experience Required $24 - $34 Per Hour + Great Benefits! Sign-on Bonus for the Right Candidate! Jackson Acura is seeking experienced Service Technicians / Mechanics to add to our team. If you have experience in automotive service and maintenance, we'd like to hear from you. Examine vehicles to determine the nature and cause of services and repairs needed Perform those repairs and maintenance services, as well as preventative and routine maintenance tasks including systems such as brakes, A/C, tires, transmission, engine, oil changes, fluid flushes, warranty work, and recalls. Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician Qualifications/Requirements - Service Technician: ASE certified, Honda Certified or Acura certified a big plus but not required At least 2 years of experience is required Excellent customer service skills are a must Product knowledge and tire quick service experience is a plus The successful applicant must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and oral communication skills required Knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system; diagnostic equipment, and A/C equipment is a must Must have a valid Driver's license and clean driving record Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident. Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
