Location 122 Pleasant Street,Easthampton, MA, 01027,United States Employee Type Regular Full-Time Non-Exe Required Degree High school Manage Others No Description The Inventory Specialist is responsible for compliant receipt and transfer of cannabis product in and out of their assigned vault, and assists with our internal audit process by tracking, investigating, and resolving variances. Responsibilities & Duties Execute the receipt and transfer of cannabis product in and out of vault and/or facility Process transactions accurately and efficiently using a computerized system Complete required data entry (logging transactions, transfers, and daily intake/outgoing product) using Excel and state electronic recordkeeping systems to maintain compliance Execute package conversions (splits) to support allocation plans as needed. Perform regular cycle counts, internal audits, and reconciliation processes. Maintain accurate inventories, manifests, documentation, and reports. Maintain accurate labeling of all items, SRPs, and batches. Compliant with Company SOPs and state regulations Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow applicable safety procedures by wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to management Behave in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamwork Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Experience in an inventory or compliance role required; cannabis industry experience preferred. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations. Ability to push/pull carts up to 100 - 200lbs Ability to use a step ladder. Manual dexterity is needed for manipulating hand tools. Visual acuity is needed to accurately read small screens and labels. Warehouse/production facility environment with environmental controls Consistent moderate background noise level due to machinery and HVAC Generally working in confined vault space without natural light Exposure to keef/dust and cannabis odor Exposure to skin contact with plants, to which some individuals may be allergic (PPE provided) Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not encompass every task or responsibility that may be required. Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.86 Insa is a multi-state employer, and this is the company-wide pay range.
