Power BI Developer - Remote

We’re looking for a Power BI Developer who enjoys turning messy data into clear dashboards and meaningful insights . If you enjoy solving problems, working directly with clients, and building smart reporting solutions, you’ll probably fit right in here. This role is perfect for someone who likes working independently , owning projects from start to finish , and having the freedom to manage their own schedule. We’re a friendly, flexible team and we trust our developers to do great work without a lot of micromanagement . What You’ll Be Doing Working directly with clients to understand what they need from their data. Often this means reviewing existing Excel files or sample reports and figuring out how to turn them into better reporting solutions. Writing a short project plan or specification outlining what you’re going to build and how long it will take. Designing and building Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets from scratch. Turning Excel-based reports into modern Power BI dashboards that are faster, clearer, and easier to use. Building data models and visualizations that help clients gain insights from their data Publishing and managing reports in Power BI Service . Testing your work to ensure accuracy, performance, and usability . Making updates and improvements based on client feedback and requests . What You’ll Be Working On One of the fun parts of this role is the wide variety of projects . You’ll be working on both large and small Power BI projects for a diverse group of clients across many different industries . Some projects may be quick dashboard builds or report improvements , while others may involve designing complete reporting solutions from the ground up . Because our clients come from many industries, you’ll get exposure to different types of data, business challenges, and analytical problems , which keeps the work interesting and constantly evolving. What We’re Looking For 3+ years of experience building Power BI reports and dashboards Strong experience with Power BI including DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling Ability to communicate clearly with clients (written and spoken English) Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently Comfortable working directly with clients to gather requirements Ability to quickly learn new systems, industries, and data sources Experience optimizing Power BI models and report performance Comfortable owning projects independently from requirements gathering through final delivery Work Setup Fully remote — work from anywhere Minimum 80 hours per month , with 160 hours preferred Occasional Zoom meetings with clients , otherwise work hours are flexible Why You Might Like Working Here If you enjoy building cool dashboards, solving interesting data problems, and working independently without a lot of bureaucracy , you’ll probably enjoy working with us.
