About the Position

Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13-26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Operating Room with strong experience in ENT, Plastics, and Pediatrics License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: AHA BLS required Must-Have: Strong experience in ENT, Plastics, and Pediatrics. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with a focus on Operating Room. Candidates must have strong experience in ENT, Plastics, and Pediatric surgeries. The role includes being available for call shifts, which range from 3-4 shifts in a 6-week period, with one of those shifts occurring on a weekend. The nurse will participate in surgical procedures except for Vascular, CVOR, and Neuro cases. Charting experience with a specific electronic medical record system is preferred. Accommodations for floating to other units within the organization are necessary based on census needs. Candidates should be prepared to work with diverse age groups including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics. This role requires proficiency in various surgical procedures and techniques commonly performed in the operating room. Pre-employment testing and compliance modules are mandatory before starting. The role emphasizes teamwork and collaboration within a multidisciplinary support team. Travelers in this position are expected to comply with all organizational policies and guidelines.
