Medicare Call Center Specialist

$19.99 per hour
In this role, you will serve as a dedicated advocate for Medicare members by responding to inquiries regarding benefits, products, services, resources, networks, and policies. By identifying member and provider challenges, collaborating with internal business areas for resolution, and delivering exceptional service, you will directly support our retention strategy and build meaningful, top-notch relationships with every interaction.
  • Contract starting on 9/14/26 and ending roughly on 1/22/27
  • Schedules will be any time between 8a-8p EST
  • Weekend work is required

salary: $19.99 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 8 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Respond to Medicare members’ inquiries regarding benefits, products, services, resources, networks, and policies.

  • I dentify issues affecting members and providers; notify the appropriate internal business areas to track and resolve problems.

  • Support retention strategies by providing exceptional service to members and providers across both over-the-phone and in-person interactions.

  • Ensure strict compliance in all activities with internal policies as well as regulatory agency guidelines.

  • Identify cross-sell opportunities for ancillary products, such as dental insurance.

  • Maintain precise records of customer interactions, process member account changes, record inquiry details/actions, and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate departments for deep-dive research.

  • Operate flexibly across multiple capacities, including acting as a Medicare Concierge phone agent and a Community Outreach Specialist (over the telephone, at corporate offices, retail stores, and community engagement events).

  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.
