Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/14/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Cath Lab /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 4x10 hour day shifts with rotating weekend call coverage /n• Average 10-12 shifts per month with call required approximately 10 days per 6 weeks /n• Every other Friday and Monday off when not scheduled for weekend call shift /n• On-call average 2 weekends in 6 weeks /n• Required to float to JMH and Cath Lab Holding when needed /n• 5 years of experience required with charge experience mandatory /n• No first-time travelers accepted /n• Work settings experience required in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab /n• Required certifications: AHA BLS/ACLS /n• Experience with Epic charting system required /n• Work with adult patients in 3-room, 8-bed unit with daily census of 10 /n• Perform diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, PV cases, and pacemaker implants /n• Participate in nursing student support and clinical education /n• 40 hours of orientation including 16 hours of nonbillable orientation /n• Must maintain permanent residence 100+ miles from hospital service area /n• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) /n• Drug test must be completed within 12-14 calendar days prior to start /n/n Facility: /n This regional medical center operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
