What You’ll Do

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul school buses and fleet vehicles in compliance with FMCSA and DOT standards
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components
• Support adoption of electric vehicle (EV) maintenance practices and technology
• Complete tune-ups, wheel alignments, and safety checks
• Replace worn parts, perform oil changes, and routine servicing
• Test drive vehicles to verify safety and performance
• Perform minor bodywork and repainting as needed
• Track parts usage, manage inventory, and order supplies
• Report safety concerns and implement corrective actions
• Mentor junior technicians and support team development
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What You Bring

• Proven experience in diesel engine repair and fleet maintenance
• Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Leadership mindset with willingness to train and mentor others
• Technical certification (ASE preferred)
