Senior Video Editor (DTC / eCommerce)

Full-time · Remote · 3000 - 5,500/month + performance bonuses About the Company We're 115 Ventures , a fast-growing e-commerce group building and scaling consumer brands: TrySpartan — Men's grooming, hair-growth and beard-care products FurLife — Pet health and wellness products About the Role We're looking for an experienced Senior Video Editor with a proven track record of creating performance-driven ads for DTC and e-commerce brands. You should understand not only how to make an ad look good, but also how hooks, pacing, storytelling and visual choices influence performance. You’ll turn concepts, scripts, raw footage and customer insights into polished paid-social ads while collaborating closely with our Creative Strategists. What You’ll Be Responsible For Editing paid-social ads from raw footage through final delivery Turning scripts and briefs into persuasive visual stories Creating strong hooks and scroll-stopping openings Using pacing, captions, sound design and visual hierarchy to retain attention Editing short-form ads and longer formats, including VSLs Producing variations and iterations for creative testing Exporting deliverables for Meta and other relevant platforms Applying feedback and performance learnings to future work Reviewing your work before submission Organizing source footage, project files and final deliverables Contributing informed creative ideas when an ad can be improved Delivering at least seven high-quality, performance-driven ads per week This Role Is Not for You If Your experience is primarily in YouTube, film or cinematic content You have not edited paid-social ads for DTC or e-commerce brands You focus on aesthetics without considering performance You require detailed direction for every editing decision You are uncomfortable working in a high-output environment You repeatedly submit work without reviewing it What We’re Looking For Experience At least five years of professional video-editing experience At least three years editing paid-social or direct-response creative for DTC or e-commerce brands A portfolio demonstrating high-performing Meta or paid-social ads Experience working in a high-volume creative environment Experience collaborating with Creative Strategists and marketers Experience iterating creative based on feedback and performance data Skills and Tools Expert-level video editing Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling and retention Short-form, long-form and VSL editing Captioning, sound design and platform-specific formatting Basic-to-intermediate motion graphics Strong attention to detail and time management Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects or an equivalent motion-graphics tool CapCut AI-assisted editing, video and voice tools What Success Looks Like After 30 Days You understand our brands, creative standards and workflow You independently edit short-form and long-form ads Your work is delivered on time with minimal avoidable revisions After 60 Days You fully own assigned projects from raw footage through delivery You consistently meet the agreed weekly output You apply previous feedback before submitting new work Your edits require fewer revision rounds After 90 Days You consistently deliver at least seven high-quality ads per week At least 90% of projects are delivered on time Most edits pass quality control within two revision cycles You deliver quickly without sacrificing quality You independently contribute useful creative observations How Performance Will Be Measured Weekly creative output On-time delivery Revision rate Time to deliver Quality and attention to detail Application of feedback Creative performance and winning-ad contribution Communication, reliability and file organization What We Offer 3000 - 5,500 per month Performance bonuses for successful creative Reimbursement for approved tools such as Adobe, Envato and Storyblocks Access to our internally hosted AI video-generation tool A creative team with more than 30 Video Editors, Graphic Designers, Creative Strategists and project-management support Potential progression into Lead Video Editor, Team Lead or Creative Production Lead roles Working Conditions Schedule: Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00 (GMT+4) Location: Remote Employment type: Full-time Contract: Independent contractor agreement Our Hiring Process We run a structured, performance-focused hiring process designed to assess real capability and mutual fit.
