Job Title: Remote Sales Representative (Full-Time or Part Time)

Location: Fully Remote (must be able to work [Central Standard Time Zone)
Employment Type: Full-time / Part Time
Reports to: [Sales Manager / Director of Sales]

About the Role

We’re seeking a motivated, high-performing Remote Sales Representative to grow revenue by building pipeline, qualifying prospects, and closing deals. You’ll partner with marketing and product to identify customer needs, deliver compelling value, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

What You’ll Do

• Generate and manage new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, partnerships, referrals.
• Qualify leads/prospects using defined criteria and a structured discovery process.
• Conduct remote discovery calls, demos, presentations, and product walkthroughs.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting.
• Present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals in alignment with company guidelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, and support to ensure customer success post-sale.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
• Track numbers and contribute insights to improve lead generation and sales processes..

Requirements

• [1–3+ years] of experience in sales (preferred) 
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and confidence presenting to decision-makers.
• Experience with CRM tools ( Salesforce) and sales methodologies ([MEDDICC, SPICED, Challenger, etc.] optional).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a strong sense of ownership.
• Comfort with phone/video meetings, objection handling, and negotiation.
• Valid right to work in [MN, SD, WI, and IA] .

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience selling to new prospects virtually .
• Familiarity with Auto, Fire, and Life Insurance or consultative selling.
• Experience running full-cycle sales (discovery → close) and/or managing mid-market/enterprise deals.
• Demonstrated success with outbound prospecting and multi-touch outreach.

Work Schedule

• Typical hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week for full time
• Some flexibility required for prospect/customer time zones.

Remote Requirements

• Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace.
• Ability to attend virtual meetings and occasional in-person events (if applicable: [“1–2 times per year”]).
