Jr. Accountant

VUMI Group is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in accounting functions, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions Assist with billing processes and account reconciliations Support weekly claims and commission activities Assist with payroll-related processes Prepare and maintain accounting records and financial reports Support month-end and year-end closing activities Assist with audit preparation and supporting documentation Process, review, and reconcile accounting documents Maintain spreadsheets and accounting data Perform general administrative and accounting support tasks Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or finance experience Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting Knowledge of GAAP principles Experience with ACH payments, wire transfers, or banking activities preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies What We're Looking For The successful candidate will be highly organized, analytical, reliable, and eager to grow within a dynamic and collaborative accounting team. Important: Applicants should have prior accounting or bookkeeping experience.
