Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,771–$1,883 per week Guaranteed hours: 32 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Start date: June 15, 2026 Work setting: Short-term acute care unit (PCU) with cross-coverage as needed Responsibilities Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care to adult patients in the PCU, including assessment, monitoring, and timely intervention Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy; document care in the electronic medical record Collaborate with physicians, case managers, rehabilitation specialists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans Monitor patient status for changes in condition, respond to deteriorations, and escalate promptly to the care team as appropriate Float as needed to ICU, PCU, and MS areas to maintain unit coverage while preserving patient safety and care quality Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and transition care as part of the care continuum Requirements Active Hawaii RN license required prior to start date Ability to float between ICU, PCU, and MS areas as needed Rotating shifts required Weekend availability may be required (consecutive weekends if needed) Background and clinical competencies appropriate for a PCU/step-down setting Ability to work in a fast-paced acuity-based environment and adhere to facility policies Pay Disclaimer Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
