Outpatient Psychiatrist

Together, our passion is to make lives better and make health care easier. Bon Secours Medical Group is searching for an outpatient psychiatrist. We are starting a new practice in a brand new medical office building opening in Powdersville, SC, which is located just outside of Greenville. In addition to providing direct outpatient psychiatric care, the psychiatrist will serve as an outpatient consultative psychiatrist to primary and specialty care providers in line with the collaborative care model. Within this model, time will be dedicated to providing regularly scheduled caseload consultation to behavioral health care managers, including the review of patient registries, recommending treatment adjustments, advising on treatment for patients who are not improving. Additionally, the psychiatrist will provide occasional ad hoc telephone consultation to medical providers. The psychiatrist may also provide in-service training for primary care-based providers and staff regarding recognition and treatment of behavioral health conditions.
