Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Paris, Texas. The role involves providing specialized post-operative care for patients recovering from anesthesia across a variety of surgical specialties. The unit is a busy, 8-bed area that supports a Level 3 Trauma Center with advanced NICU services, requiring a compassionate and professional RN to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, with various start times, totaling 8 hours per shift
• Schedule: Weekly guaranteed hours of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN licensure in Texas, ADN degree or higher, minimum of 2+ years PACU experience, certifications including ACLS, BLS, and PALS, and at least 2 years of experience in a PACU setting
• Preferred Qualifications: ICU experience is a plus
• Float: Float to Pre-Operative Unit may be required

  • Start Date: 08/03/2026
  • Patient Population: All non-neonates, including geriatrics and adults
  • Equipment: V/S monitor, IV pumps, airway management tools, crash carts
  • Electronic Health Record System: Meditech, TigerConnect
  • Floor: PACU, Level IV Trauma Level, serving both Northeast Texas and Southeast Oklahoma
  • On-call rotation required for weekends and when scheduled for on-call shifts
  • Must be friendly, calm under pressure, easy-going, and kind to succeed in this environment
