Account Manager, SRS Transportation
Azenta
Azenta seeks an Account Manager for Sample Repository Services Transportation to drive revenue growth in biorepository transportation and relocation services. The role involves developing new business opportunities across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, and logistics markets while managing customer relationships and sales operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and drive bookings for transportation and relocation services in assigned territory
- Conduct prospecting, cold-calling, and capability presentations to existing and prospective customers
- Maintain accurate customer and sales data in Salesforce CRM with regular updates and forecasts
- Partner with sales team and project management to deliver comprehensive client management and cross-selling support
- Achieve and exceed annual sales goals through territory strategy execution and strategic account expansion
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; science-related field preferred
- Minimum three years sales experience in life sciences, cold-chain logistics, or related field
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platform
- Knowledge of structured selling methodologies such as Miller Heiman or Korn Ferry
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Valid U.S. driver's license; ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Strong communication and consultative client relationship skills
