Your future role at a glance Location: Nashville, TN Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas West Department: Ortho Schedule: Weekend Option | Days Sign-on Bonus Available How you'll make an impact in this role Joint Commission Certified for hip and knee replacement as well as hip fracture repair. Assist in post-operative care for those having elective total joint surgeries like hip, shoulder, knee and ankle replacements. Provide post surgical support to your patients in the form of surgical dressings, drains and medication management. Partner with Physical Therapists in the Joint Replacement Center to implement exercise and mobility plans to ensure patient success. A fast paced unit which also includes a variety of general medical patients who flow in through the Emergency Department. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
