Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a speech-language pathologist in a vibrant educational community near Helena, AL. This assignment runs from August 12, 2026, through May 20, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 28 hours per week across 4-5 days.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of elementary students.
  • Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings.
  • Work with one or two additional schools, depending on caseload size.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Current and active Alabama SLP license required.
  • Possession of CCC-SLP credentials.
  • ALSDE SLP Certification.
  • Experience or comfort working within school-based settings.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
