About Sunshine Residential Homes: Sunshine Residential Homes is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Our foster group homes primarily care for sibling groups, offering a supportive, family-like atmosphere. Each home typically cares for 8 to 10 children, mostly school-aged (3-17 years old), providing structured routines and engaging activities year-round. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM- 5:00PM
Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Program Supervisor to join our team in Glendale, AZ. - Supervise and support House Managers for seven group homes, each housing approximately 10 children.
- Regularly visit homes (announced and unannounced) to monitor quality of care, compliance, and children's well-being.
- Coordinate and oversee daily operations, ensuring children's academic and behavioral health needs are met.
- Serve as a key liaison between house staff, administrative team, schools, and community partners.
- Respond promptly to urgent staffing or child-related emergencies.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members, promoting a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to House Managers.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule every fifth weekend.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in foster care, residential care, social services, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Exceptional multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening abilities.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care is a plus.
- Comfortable traveling within the West Valley region.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
