CMM Programmer - Quality Technician

Using both CMM technology and manual inspection tools, you'll help ensure the quality and reliability required to put people safely in the air. This position is for 1st Shift, 6:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday and Saturday and/or Sunday, when required.

Job Summary

CMM Inspection - Support the Quality and Manufacturing departments with 1st Piece Inspection, In-Process Inspection and Final Inspection of finished parts. Use of manual handheld inspection tools such as micrometers, gages and other inspection equipment while CMM is running longer cycle times. Set-up next job(s) in line while CMM is checking parts. Perform layout inspections, first piece approvals, in-process inspections, and other aspects of inspection through-out the manufacturing process. Other quality related duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree, specialized training or certifications in Quality or Engineering strongly preferred. Minimum three (3) years performing CMM Programming work, with Open DMIS or PC-DMIS, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing operation. Demonstrated understanding of GD&T required. Experience in a job shop highly preferred. Must be knowledgeable of inspection tools.
