Job Title

Registered Nurse – CVOR

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate open heart surgeries and vascular cases in a hybrid OR environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients with diagnoses including peripheral vascular disease, aortic disease, carotid disease, coronary artery disease, valve disease, and aortic dissections
• Assist with and support special procedures including angiograms, aortograms, EVAR, TVAR, TCAR, TAVR, and open AAA repairs
• Operate and assist with specialized hybrid room equipment in a high-acuity surgical setting
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed and every third weekend (approximately 4 weekend shifts per contract)

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or valid compact license required at time of submittal
• Minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience with strong vascular and cardiac background; vascular experience is strongly preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions accepted)
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility at time of application
• Ability to pass a pre-start EKG exam (up to 3 attempts allowed)
• Completion of required pre-start compliance modules prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR
• Experience working in a hybrid OR room environment
