MVS Cloud is seeking an experienced Medical Billing Program Manager for a full-time, on-site position in Dearborn, Michigan. This role will lead and improve end-to-end medical billing and revenue-cycle operations across customer practices using the MVS Health platform. The ideal candidate combines hands‑on outpatient billing expertise with strong operational leadership and a continuous‑improvement mindset. You will help customers achieve faster, more accurate reimbursement while collaborating with billing, customer success, product, and engineering teams to build better billing workflows into our software. The Medical Billing Program Manager will oversee claims submission, payment posting, denial management, appeals, insurance follow‑up, credentialing support, billing onboarding, coding and documentation standards, and reporting. This person will also help identify recurring billing issues, improve processes, train teams, and translate real‑world revenue‑cycle needs into practical product improvements. Monitor billing performance across customer practices, including claim acceptance, reimbursement speed, denial rates, aging, underpayments, and collections Improve revenue‑cycle workflows from eligibility and benefits verification through charge capture, claim submission, payment posting, denial resolution, appeals, and patient balances Lead denial and underpayment recovery efforts, including root‑cause analysis and implementation of preventive process improvements Develop and maintain billing policies, coding and documentation standards, audit processes, and training materials Partner with customer success, billing teams, clinical teams, and practice administrators to resolve complex billing and payer issues Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve billing workflows within MVS Health, including tools that identify errors, reduce claim rejections, and support denial prevention Support insurance enrollment, payer credentialing, and related billing‑readiness activities for new and existing practices Help onboard new practices by configuring billing workflows, supporting payer and clearinghouse setup, and training staff on effective revenue‑cycle processes Build and analyze reports and dashboards measuring performance by practice, specialty, payer, and billing metric Supervise, coach, and support billing personnel as the program grows Help maintain compliance with applicable healthcare billing, privacy, and reimbursement requirements, including HIPAA and the No Surprises Act Qualifications Approximately 3+ years of medical billing or revenue‑cycle experience, including experience leading or supervising a billing team; equivalent high‑volume billing experience will also be considered Strong knowledge of the outpatient medical billing lifecycle, including eligibility verification, charge review, claims submission, payment posting, payer follow‑up, denials, appeals, and collections Working knowledge of medical terminology, clinical documentation, ICD-10 coding, CPT/HCPCS concepts, and payer billing requirements Experience with commercial insurance, Medicare billing, payer portals, clearinghouses, and benefits verification Demonstrated ability to improve revenue‑cycle outcomes, such as reducing denials, accelerating reimbursement, improving clean‑claim rates, or increasing collections Strong analytical skills and comfort working directly with billing data, operational reports, and performance dashboards Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with billers, practice staff, physicians, leadership, and technical teams Strong organization, judgment, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills Preferred Medical billing, coding, or revenue‑cycle certification, such as CPC, CPB, CRCR, or CHFP Experience supporting multiple practices, specialties, or locations Experience with EMR, practice‑management, billing, clearinghouse, or payer‑portal systems Experience in a healthcare technology, software, or product‑focused environment Familiarity with cloud‑based or AI‑enabled billing and revenue‑cycle tools Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field What We Offer Salary of $70,000–$80,000+, plus bonus opportunities; compensation may be higher based on experience Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) Flexible PTO The opportunity to help shape a healthcare platform built for clinicians, billers, and modern outpatient practices MVS Cloud is an equal opportunity employer.
