Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech III)If you'd like the chance to make your mark with the world's largest equipment rental provider, come build your future with United Rentals!As a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech III) within the Fluid Solutions Division at United Rentals, you'll use your skills to perform maintenance tasks as well as minor repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of dryers and pumps. Every day, you can improve and challenge yourself, and if you have the desire and ambition, you'll have the potential to work towards higher level Tech roles in our Service Department. Like every member of our team, we will rely on you to provide exceptional customer service to our customers.What you'll do:Responsible for service documentationTravel to customer sitesTrain lower level TechniciansDemonstrate equipment for customersAssist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & partsOther duties assigned as neededRequirements:High School diploma or equivalent3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining dryers and pumps of various sizes, capacities and manufacturersOwn the tools applicable to positionKnowledge of construction equipmentStrong mechanical background knowledge particularly with various enginesSuperior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skillsValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordAbility to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.Why Join Us?We don't just "talk the talk!"
