Master's Level Clinician
Join EBCAP in a mission-critical clinical role supporting our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) and behavioral health programs. As a Master's Level Clinician, you'll deliver high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services across outpatient, community-based, and integrated care settings — meeting clients where they are and providing care that changes lives. You will conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, build individualized treatment plans, coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams, and help ensure that the individuals and families we serve receive the highest quality behavioral health services.
Key Responsibilities
What We're Looking For
- A skilled clinician with a Master's degree in a human services field
- At least 1 year of post-master's clinical experience (preferred)
- Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders
- Someone confident working independently in community and unsupervised settings
- A clinician committed to recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, whole-person care
- Valid Rhode Island driver's license with a clean driving record
What You Bring
- Strong clinical judgment and ethical decision-making in complex care environments
- Skills in evidence-based practices such as CBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care
- Experience with EMR documentation and regulatory compliance standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- Resilience, professional boundaries, and stability when working with high-acuity populations
- Data-informed approach to treatment planning and outcome monitoring
How You'll Make a Difference
Your clinical work is the direct link between EBCAP's mission and the people who need us most. Specifically, you will:
- Stabilize lives through evidence-based therapy and crisis intervention
- Help individuals with the most complex needs navigate and access care
- Bridge the gap between behavioral health and physical health services
- Empower clients, families, and natural supports on the road to recovery
- Deliver outcomes within a nationally recognized CCBHC model of care
Our clinicians go where the need is — into communities, into homes, into people's lives. If you believe in meeting clients where they are, this is your place." What You Will Do on a Daily Basis
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations, build and monitor individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy and counseling to individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions in both office and community settings.
- You'll coordinate care across providers and meet productivity and documentation standards.
- Maintain compliant clinical documentation in the EMR, collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and care coordinators, and participate in team meetings, supervision, and quality improvement.
- You'll administer outcome measurement tools, respond to crisis situations, and apply working knowledge of BHDDH, Medicaid, CCBHC, and Joint Commission standards.
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and families, coordinate referrals and accompany clients to appointments, and contribute to organizational committees and program development initiatives.
