Multi-Unit Restaurant HVAC and Refrigeration Technician Job Category: Development & Facilities Requisition Number: MULTI001558 Lou Malnati's Pizzeria is looking for a full‑time HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to join our Repair and Maintenance team. You'll repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment, handle general repairs across our restaurants and corporate offices, and work closely with restaurant managers to prevent equipment breakdowns before they happen. We’re looking for someone with 3+ years of HVAC and refrigerated kitchen equipment experience, solid electrical and plumbing skills, and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional after‑hours calls. Company truck and tools provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Repair HVAC and/or Refrigeration equipment in a restaurant setting Act asteamplayer in the Repair and Maintenance Department and take turns on after-hourscalls. Communicate and trouble shoot with restaurant managers to prevent equipment breakdowns. Make miscellaneous repairs at ourrestaurant locations and corporate offices (electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.)

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Must have at least3 years' experience in HVAC and Refrigerated Kitchen Equipment. Necessary to have a strongunderstanding of Basic Electrical and Plumbing. Ability to effectively communicate with team members and store managers. Must have follow-up and organizational skills along with a strongattention to detail. Flexibility to work varied hours/days including evenings, holidays and weekends as well. Must be able and willing to freely access all areas of our locations; stand, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb and move about the locations and move heavy equipment and machinery. Clean driving record and valid driver's license - will be supplied company truck and tools

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and a variety of othertechnology. Required to stand; walk; use of hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and requires the ability to lift office products and supplies up to XX pounds. Approximately 50% of travel is expected for this position.
