Additionally: ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. May also advise physicians on medication utilization.Education Minimum:Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy preferredExperience/Qualifications:Preferred: Hospital pharmacy experience in unit dose and IV admixtureGood communication skills and ability to relate effectively to hospital staff, department heads, administration and medical staffRequired Certification / Licensure / Registration:Current & valid Florida License as Registered PharmacistRequired: Pharmacy license; BLS within 30 days of hire (ACLS and/or PALS if code attendance required)Preferred: Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS), CGP, etc.West Boca Medical Center (WBMC) is part of the Palm Beach Health Network and has been serving southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties for over 37 years.
