Staff Pharmacist - Chesterfield, MO

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This direct hire opportunity seeks a skilled Staff Pharmacist with a current Missouri pharmacist license to work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe, accurate medication dispensing and providing exceptional patient care through counseling and collaboration with healthcare providers. Responsibilities Include Providing proactive patient counseling via phone on new prescriptions, refills, side effects, medication adherence, and proper use. Collaborating with prescribers to resolve prescription questions or clinical issues that may delay dispensing. Reviewing and clinically verifying prescription orders for therapeutic appropriateness, drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy. Performing pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a high-volume closed-door fulfillment setting to ensure accuracy of drug, dose, quantity, and labeling before dispensing. Assisting pharmacy management with processing, receiving, and transferring prescriptions while managing transfer processes end-to-end. Qualifications / Desired Experience Active pharmacist license in Missouri. Experience as a pharmacist preferred in retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy settings. Recent graduates with appropriate licensure are encouraged to apply.
