Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an advanced manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled Facilities & Maintenance Lead. This hands-on role is responsible for leading facility maintenance operations, troubleshooting industrial electrical and mechanical systems, and managing preventive maintenance activities. The position also supports facility expansion, equipment installations, contractor coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives. Job Duties Lead daily facility and maintenance activities across manufacturing operations Troubleshoot 480V electrical systems, motors, drives, controls, and industrial equipment Develop, execute, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, and utility systems Coordinate maintenance priorities, work orders, contractors, vendors, and facility projects Support equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and future production expansion Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring equipment failures Track maintenance metrics, equipment downtime, inspection results, and reliability trends Required High school diploma or GED 8+ years of industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or electrical experience Hands-on experience troubleshooting 480V industrial electrical and power distribution systems Experience troubleshooting electrical controls, motors, variable frequency drives, PLCs, and manufacturing equipment Ability to interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals Working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, utility, and building support systems Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform hands-on maintenance activities Journeyman or Master Electrician license Technical trade certification or associate degree in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field Experience with medium-voltage or high-voltage electrical systems Allen-Bradley PLC and industrial controls experience CMMS experience OSHA 30 certification NFPA 70E training Experience supporting industrial manufacturing, utilities, energy, aerospace, chemical processing, or other heavy industrial environments Blue Chip Talent is an award-winning and woman-owned talent solutions provider based out of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
