Position Summary

Quality Assured Staffing LLC recruits qualified Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide nursing services at a facility in Sykesville, MD.

LPNs will provide nursing care within the scope of licensure and assignment while following facility policies, patient care plans, Maryland nursing regulations, and applicable state and federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Follow individual patient/resident care plans.
• Monitor patient/resident conditions and report changes appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments as authorized.
• Obtain and document vital signs and clinical observations.
• Document nursing care and interventions accurately.
• Communicate with RNs, physicians, supervisors, and other members of the care team.
• Follow infection-control and safety procedures.
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
• Assist with behavior-management and safety procedures when applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA.
• Complete required facility orientation and training.
• Perform other duties within the scope of licensure.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Maryland LPN license or eligible compact-state license.
• Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience as an LPN.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current driver's license.
• Ability to pass required background, drug, medical, TB, and employee-health screenings.
• Required immunization documentation.
• Ability to complete facility orientation and competency requirements.

Schedule

As-needed agency assignments based on facility staffing needs. Shifts may include 8-hour or 12-hour schedule, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays depending on facility requirements.
