Nurse Manager Coronary Care

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Nursing Manager, you will be a dynamic leader, guiding and empowering our nursing team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence. Every day, you will lead and mentor Registered Nurses, oversee clinical operations, and advocate for patient and team needs, driving professional development and achieving unit goals. To be successful in this role, you will embody accountability and confidence with superior communication skills for all interactions. You'll skillfully navigate challenges, ensuring individual performance and overall unit success. Support and actualize the Division of Nursing philosophy and goals by assuming leadership in program development and implementation. Develop staff to assume leadership roles both formally and informally, via role modeling and facilitating staff participation in shared governance structure. Facilitate development and implementation of solutions to problems. Develop and implement effective communication channels to provide information to all staff members, holding at least one unit meeting per month with posting of minutes and notice. Direct and participate in the orientation of new employees, evaluate programs affecting employees; an identified council structure with an elected Staff Nurse Professional Practice Council representative. Conduct unit council meetings monthly incorporating new knowledge and skills to meet changing needs of patient families, department employees and institution. Job Requirements Required Bachelors Of Science Nursing and 3 years leadership experience, upon hire. Masters In Other, upon hire. Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire. Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 days. Preferred Clinical leadership in the discipline.
