Primary Care Physician Opportunity in Daytona Beach, FloridaAn established and growing Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice in the Daytona Beach, Florida area is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join its patient-centered healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who values relationship-based medicine, longer patient visits, reduced administrative burden, and the ability to provide highly personalized care. Founded in 2009, the practice has built strong partnerships with local employers and continues to experience significant growth. The incoming physician will play a key role in expanding access to primary care services while helping develop and grow their own patient panel.Position Highlights:Direct Primary Care modelOutpatient-only practiceFour-day work week (Monday–Thursday)No insurance billing requirementsLow patient volume with extended appointment timesOpportunity for panel growth incentives and profit-sharingCollaborative, physician-led environmentFlexible candidate requirements, including consideration of new graduatesSchedule:Full-time position Monday–Thursday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Last patient scheduled at 4:00 PM.Patient Care Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patientsPerform preventive care, annual wellness visits, and chronic disease managementDiagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditionsDevelop individualized treatment plansCoordinate care with specialists and healthcare facilities as neededConduct hospital follow-up visits when appropriateUtilize telehealth and patient communication tools to enhance access and continuity of careMaintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record systemPatient Volume & Practice Model:Average of approximately 10 patients per day. New patient appointments: 60 minutes. Follow-up appointments: 30 minutes. Hospital follow-up appointments: 60 minutes. Predominantly adult patient population. Average patient age range: 40–50 years. Employer-sponsored patient memberships and individual members. Light telephone call coverage. Approximately one week of call coverage at a time. Patients are educated to utilize after-hours access only for urgent concerns. Minimal call burden. No routine in-person call requirements.Qualifications:Required MD or DO degree from an accredited institutionCompletion of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency trainingEligible for or active Florida medical licenseDEA registration or eligibilityPreferred Family Medicine training preferred but open to Internal MedicineBoard Eligible or Board Certified preferredPrior outpatient primary care experience preferred but not requiredNew graduates are encouraged to applyCompensation & Benefits:Compensation up to $250,000+.
