Schedule

7A - 5P, Saturday through Monday, with rotating one additional weekday shift covering the third shift.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a seasonal travel position in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced surgical environment, ensuring patient safety and effective communication with the surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to patients in the operating room setting.
• Assist with surgical procedures by circulating and scrubbing as required.
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-year current hospital acute care experience.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.
• Circulating and scrubbing experience in the Operating Room.
