Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Ottumwa, Iowa. This role involves providing compassionate maternity care, supporting mothers through labor and delivery, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure positive outcomes. The position offers an opportunity to work in a facility with a diverse patient population, focusing on both active labor management and postpartum care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Iowa State Criminal Background (BG) clearance, Child Abuse BG clearance, mandatory reporter certification for both Child and Adult, 10-panel drug screening including opiates, titers within the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB), and 1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with intermediate fetal monitoring and electronic health record systems (Meditech).
• Float: Float within hospital to other units as needed.
• Additional Information: The candidate must be flexible for Monday or Tuesday start dates and must include a complete submittal packet including a resume and skills checklist.
