Greenup Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a full-time Activities Director for our skilled nursing facility. We are looking for an energetic, organized professional who enjoys creating meaningful daily experiences for elders.
Pay: $18-$20/hour
The Activities Director plans and leads group and individual activities, special events, and recreational programs that promote engagement, independence, and quality of life for residents.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead daily activities and events
- Develop programs based on resident interests and abilities
- Encourage resident participation and social interaction
- Assist residents to and from activities as needed
- Maintain activity calendars and documentation
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with elderly patients or residents required
- Previous Activities Director or Recreation experience preferred
- Positive, outgoing, and compassionate personality
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
