Location: Monterey County, Correctional Training Facility (In Office) Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time Job Description Under the direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the supervision of the Correction Health Services Administrator I/II, the Radiologic Technologist is responsible for preparing incarcerated patients for radiologic examinations and performing x‑rays on a variety of body structures. The role includes maintaining equipment, keeping records, and may involve supervising incarcerated‑workers during patient treatment. Responsibilities Instruct and prepare patients for radiologic examinations. Perform x‑rays on various body structures. Maintain radiologic equipment and facilities. Keep accurate records and documentation. Supervise and manage incarcerated‑workers in treatment activities, as required. Minimum Qualifications Current valid California State Department of Health Services certificate as a Radiologic Technologist. Either: Two years of experience, including training under an accredited medical radiologist (a graduate nurse qualification may substitute for one year of experience). Or completion of a two‑year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association and the American College of Radiology.
