Engineering Technician

Duties

Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality products according to specifications.
Create, modify, and review technical plans, schematics, and 2D/3D models using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
Conduct routine inspections and perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment issues promptly.
Manage setup, changeovers, and calibration of machinery to optimize production efficiency.
Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, quality checks, and maintenance logs.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and improve operational workflows.
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Build, calibrate, and repair equipment; conduct experiments, test materials, and analyze data to verify performance standards.

Qualifications

Associates degree is required.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong mathematical skills and ability to interpret complex blueprints and schematics.
Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently, following established procedures.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems is advantageous.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with adherence to safety standards.
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
Training and experience with IPC-610 and/or J-STD001 standards, or equivalent.
Familiarity with ISO and OSHA procedures.
