Job Title: Plumbing Designer
Job Description
The Plumbing Designer is responsible for day-to-day design and drafting tasks, working on multiple projects under the coordination of Project Managers, Department Managers, and the Director of Engineering. This position reports to the Design Department Manager.
Responsibilities

• Design and draft plumbing systems for various projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and department managers to ensure seamless coordination of projects.
• Engage in high-level engineering projects such as environmental chambers, launch tests, and manufacturing facilities.
• Participate in the design of domestic, sanitary, and storm plumbing systems.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• At least 1 year of experience in plumbing system design.
• Proficient knowledge of the International Plumbing Code.
• Competency in MS Office applications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in designing plumbing systems for healthcare, education, government, science & technology, and commercial projects.
• Ability to work in a team environment with a family-like dynamic.
• Strong communication skills and ability to contribute to a high-performing team.
• Innovative and proactive approach to engineering challenges.

The team consists of 27 employees with a blend of electrical and mechanical/plumbing professionals. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
