We would love for you to become a member of our team!/ph3About the Role/h3pAs a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will provide a broad range of clinical services to patients of all ages. Youll treat acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections. Youll work independently or alongside a physician, using your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, while recognizing when to escalate care to emergency services./ph3Essential Responsibilities/h3ulliConduct physical exams and review patient medical histories/liliOrder and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging/liliDiagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments or medications/liliPerform minor procedures including suturing, splinting, and casting/liliDocument patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR/liliEducate and counsel patients on care and prevention/liliAdminister vaccinations and refer patients to specialists as needed/liliWork scheduled shifts of 4, 8, or 12 hours as assigned/liliPerform other duties as assigned by leadership/li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications/h3ulliMinimum 1 year of full-time experience as a licensed NP or PA in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting (required)/liliExperience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (required)/liliComfortable performing minor procedures including suturing, casting, and splinting (required)/liliProficient in preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays (required)/li/ulpNurse Practitioners:/pulliMasters degree in Nursing (required)/liliNational certification as a Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC) (required)/li/ulh3Required Skills Abilities/h3ulliProficiency in urgent care procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting)/liliStrong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills/liliAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment/liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills/liliAttentive listening and patient engagement/li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulliExperience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems/liliMultilingual communication skills/liliFamiliarity with telemedicine platforms/liliBasic understanding of medical billing and coding/li/ulpNote: This job description is not inclusive of all duties and responsibilities./p/div
